An intramural chess tournament was held on November 4, 2022, organised by the department of physical education in association with IQAC Mar Theophilus Training College. The event was inaugurated by the principal, K.Y. Benedict, sir.  

  The M. Ed. Department at Mar Theophilus Training College organized the Inter College Quiz "COGNITARE" in support of International Teacher's Day in collaboration with IQAC and the International Quizzing Association. The test was slated for November 3, 2022. Because it was organized in conjunction with Unacademy, the quiz was special in and of itself.  97 teams from various colleges took part in this quiz competition. Although the competition was fierce, the Engineering College team ultimately emerged victorious in the most intense combat, and they also took second place, with Mar Ivanios College team taking third. Certificates were distributed to every other participant. Both the audience and the competitors found the competition to be extremely educational and knowledge-enhancing.
